The SP-TP7 provides a simple, affordable and easy to configure solution for presentation systems control. Using a bright, capacitive color display the unit responds instantly and accurately with the touch of a finger. The unit requires absolutely no programming.
The predesigned, configurable built-in GUI provides simple, intuitive ease of use. Install the touchscreen unit with a required SP Controls NRC (Networked Room Controller) unit into all your new presentation system installations. You can also update existing or older systems to touch control by replacing the legacy SmartPanel or older PixiePro control units in minutes. The new SP-TP7 seamlessly connects with existing or new SP Controls NRC units over category cabling or via your secure network.
There are many new features in the touch panel that make controlling your conference rooms, classrooms, houses of worship or any other presentation system literally a snap. As mentioned earlier, there is no programming required to get the system up and running – saving you thousands of dollars and allowing for a much quicker install time. The SP-TP7 allows for either ethernet or Wi-Fi network communication and connectivity. One of the most compelling features is that this new system is backward compatible to SP Controls revolutionary Network Room Controllers – saving you time and money by not needing to replace this key element of room control.
While this is a networkable device, you don’t have to put it on your network to make it operational in a room. It will be able to be used with their SmartView Web enterprise management software if it is on your secure network.
Varied mounting solutions for wall or equipment rack, tabletop or lectern, as well as legacy SmartBox replacement faceplates will provide a modern and streamlined look for your conference and meeting rooms, classrooms, auditorium or multi-purpose presentation systems. Initially the SP-TP7 device with ship with a wall mount mud-ring and bezel with the additional mounting options to follow.
This new controller has a tremendous amount of potential functions and features that SP Controls plans to ‘unlock’ over time to enable it to be the room’s hub for all software related solutions including presentations, mass notification, scheduling, conferencing (Zoom), etc.
